Job Summary:

Salisbury University is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Coordinator of International Enrollment services to join the Enrollment Management team. The Coordinator of International Enrollment Services is responsible for all undergraduate and graduate students who require a student visa from the time of application through admission, yield, and onboarding with the goal of increasing both the number of international students and the quality of the outcomes for those students. This person will collaborate with various offices across campus, including the Janet Dudley-Eshbach Center for International Education, be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the international portion of Slate (including all international programs within the CRM), and reviewing applications and processing decisions. This position is a key player in assisting students in visa processes (both J- and F-visa types), onboarding of those individuals to campus, and providing current student support.

Authority and Accountability:

This position will report to the Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management. This position may oversee graduate assistant positions and undergraduate student workers. This position will not have budget making authority.  

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, with a preferred degree in international affairs or related field. 
  • Outstanding writing, communication and interpersonal skills. Must be a strategic thinker and problem solver. Project management skills including planning, organization, time management and prioritization. Must be flexible and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, working well under pressure, independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Must be eligible to be authorized by USCIS as DSO and ARO.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree and experience supporting enrollment at the collegiate level. 
  • 3-5 years experience working with international students on a US campus including international admissions, student services, residence hall programming, or other direct experience working with international students. Experience studying, living, and/or working abroad is also preferred. Understanding visa and SEVP regulations for students on either an F-1 or J-1 visa. High linguistic competence in a second or third language strongly preferred. Experience working with university-based ESL programs. Experience with Slate strongly preferred; experience with international admissions preferred.

The position is a full-time, exempt state role with comprehensive benefits.
