Volley is the leading developer of AI-powered games for Amazon Alexa, Samsung, LG, Roku, Fire TV, and mobile devices. Our games attract millions of users every month. Popular Volley games include Song Quiz, Jeopardy!, CoComelon: Sing and Play with JJ, and The Price Is Right.

We believe voice interfaces will become the main way people access entertainment in their living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and cars. We’re building a bundled subscription product similar to Netflix or Spotify for the emerging category of “AI-powered games.”

Role Summary

Volley is seeking a Director of Performance Marketing to own subscriber acquisition across our CTV app portfolio. This is a senior, high-impact role focused on driving installs and subscriptions for Volley's apps on smart TV platforms—Roku, Amazon Fire TV, LG, Samsung, and others.

What You'll Do at Volley

  • Own subscriber acquisition strategy and execution across Roku, Fire TV, LG, Samsung, and emerging CTV platforms.

  • Buy and optimize on-device ad inventory—home screen placements, sponsored tiles, featured app positions, and platform UI ads.

  • Develop and manage relationships with platform partners, negotiating distribution deals, co-marketing opportunities, and merchandising.

  • Build and refine our CTV attribution and measurement infrastructure in partnership with our data team—spec requirements, evaluate vendors, and ensure we can tie spend to outcomes.

  • Manage significant and growing ad budgets ($30-50M annually) with accountability for CAC, ROAS, and subscriber LTV.

We're Excited About You Because You Have

  • Deep, hands-on experience with CTV platform marketing—understands Roku, Fire TV, LG, and Samsung as app ecosystems, not just ad channels.

  • Track record driving subscriber or user acquisition for streaming apps or CTV-native products.

  • Technical fluency in attribution and measurement—can spec requirements for data teams, interrogate vendor claims, and build systems from scratch when needed.

  • Existing relationships with platform partners and CTV adtech vendors.

  • Comfort managing large budgets (tens of millions) with clear accountability for performance outcomes.

  • Strong analytical skills—fluent in CAC, LTV, ROAS, incrementality, and can build the models to optimize against them.

  • Senior presence—can hold their own with platform partners, agencies, and executive stakeholders.

Bonus Points

  • Experience building attribution infrastructure from scratch or leading significant measurement initiatives.

  • Background in mobile gaming UA (understanding of platform dynamics translates well).

  • Familiarity with casual gaming and/or consumer subscription products.

  • Experience scaling spend from early-stage to $10MM+ budgets.
