Registered Nurse - Aged Care - Western Regions

Kindly provide specific details regarding your preferred Care Community for these additional hours and the number of hours you wish to be considered for.

About the Role

Join our caring and committed aged care teams across Dimboola. You’ll deliver quality, resident-focused care while enjoying a regional lifestyle and opportunities for growth. Flexible hours available with the option to take on more as positions open.

The successful applicants will be excellent communicators with a sound understanding/knowledge of ACFI, Aged Care Standards and Quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Caring for a diverse range of residents in varied care settings.
• Participate in the provision of resident focussed, holistic care.
• Plan, implement and evaluate evidence based nursing care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes for our residents.
• Work collaboratively with the Care Community Manager to facilitate and foster best practice standards in nursing care to residents and their families and carers.

Qualifications and experience

• Eligible for registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and hold a current Practicing Certificate.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain.
• Demonstrated clinical knowledge and skills, commensurate with experience.

This position is paid in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2024 - 2028. The classification is Registered Nurse Grade 2 (YP2 - YP9) which ranges from $42.60 - $54.40 per hour.

All appointments are subject to a satisfactory police records check, immunisation clearance and Working with Children check and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check.
