Lead the Digital Transformation of SP Transmission

We’re seeking a visionary Value Stream Manager to take full ownership of the end-to-end delivery of digital solutions within SP Transmission, driving the execution of our Digitalisation Strategy. This is a strategic leadership role, responsible for shaping the roadmap, overseeing system changes, and ensuring seamless support and maintenance across a critical business capability and technology value stream.

What you’ll be doing

With a total investment of approximately £85 million, this programme is central to achieving our business plan outcomes. You’ll lead cross-functional teams and coordinate complex programmes, ensuring alignment with SPEN-wide customer priorities and delivering impactful digital transformation across the organisation.

The role demands a strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and a deep understanding of agile delivery, change management, and complex programme execution. You’ll be responsible for managing budgets exceeding £10 million, developing resource plans, and ensuring effective delivery into business-as-usual operations. Your leadership will be key in fostering collaboration across internal teams, external suppliers, and senior stakeholders, both locally and globally.

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for someone who brings a blend of technical expertise, leadership capability, and a customer-focused mindset. You’ll have experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams, navigating dynamic project environments, and delivering innovative solutions that meet strategic business goals. A strong understanding of IT systems delivery, data protection, and cyber considerations is essential, along with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in transforming how SP Transmission delivers digital value. If you're ready to lead with purpose and drive meaningful change, we’d love to hear from you.
